KIDS SUMMER ART CAMP
"EGYPT"

That’s our theme this year, as we once again take your wonderful children on another “Passport to Adventure”. Sign up your children for the finest week-long Art Camp offered anywhere. Our Summer Art Camp offers children the chance to explore the exciting world of creativity through a wide range of multi-media art activities that, while producing unique works of art, will focus on the creative process and the development of imagination and creativity. The children will explore acrylic painting, sculpture, drawing, water color and more. Cost is only $200 per person and all supplies are furnished for all projects, in the class fee. Just bring a roll of good paper towels and a sack lunch. WEAR OLD CLOTHES and good walking shoes (NO CLOGS). Space is limited, so sign up soon, classes fill up really fast. Make your reservation ASAP so your child won’t be left out. (If you are a working parent for an additional fee of $25.00, we will entertain your child until 4:30 p.m.) Throughout the art camp,the children will be preparing for their very own “Art Show” where all the art projects done during the week will be on display. The art show will be held on Friday of each week from 2:30 - 3:00pm.

Erin Livermore***NEW CLASSES!***

Erin Livermore will be teaching her Silk Painting techniques in various classes for Adults and Kids. Erin is a graduate of Eastern IL., and received her Masters from Depaul University. She has taught many Children’s classes, as well as Adults.

Come explore the world of fine silk painting, created on 100% Chinese Habatai silk using the finest dyes. In these classes, you will be able to create your own designs, or you can choose from designs that Erin has. You can match your home decor and use your design as a work of art, or you can match your designs with your clothing! Check the pull-out schedule for dates, times and costs.

Each class includes the silk, dyes and all other supplies. Erin is looking forward to sharing her unique experience with you!

***ANOTHER NEW CLASS!***
The Thursday evening follow-the-leader class will be replaced with Plein Air painting classes! Plein Air means “painting in the open air.” We will go into much more detail in class. These classes will require the students to bring their OWN pictures to paint. Choose from your own photos, or calendars. NO PORTRAITS please, at this time. Landscapes and seascapes will be plenty to do. When the weather becomes nice, we may do a workshop out-doors. Students are required to supply their own paints and canvasses which you can purchase at the studio for a discount.
